Kuper ACR Series Crossfeed Veneer Splicer

The NEW KUPER ACR 3200 combines traditional and modern workmanship in technology and design. The ACR cross feed veneer splicer offers increased speed and consistently high quality – thanks to the state-of-the-art intelligent control system, which ensures perfectly coordinated processes. The optimized design is the result of 80 years of expertise and experience in the design and manufacture of veneer splicers.

The individual processing steps are optimally coordinated. The infeed of the pre-glued veneers is done by transport belts. During the transport of the veneer to the splicing zone it will be measured and aligned. Depending on the strip width, the integrated first strip pull-in facility switches on automatically. This allows fast processing of narrow and wavy veneers. The linear moveable top pressure unit can be manually positioned and is easily accessible for maintenance purposes. The installed cross cutting knife cuts the veneer sheet to the set fixed dimension. The cut strips are then automatically and precisely stacked in the stacker. All production parameters are listed in the clearly laid out touch screen and are immediately available.

The ACR is compatible with the end-splicing and trimming unit KUPER EVB and can be extended with an automatic feeding unit. Various stacker systems with working depths of 1400, 2100, 2500 or 2850 mm are available. The control panel with uniform and easy-to-recognize symbols facilitates selection and control via the screen with touch function. This allows direct selection of the most important functions.

Kuper FW Veneer Splicer

Kuper’s FW Series veneer splicers join veneer strips to make faces for decorative and constructional applications. Special Kuper glue thread is passed through a heated tube and applied in a zigzag fashion to produce a tight joint. The machines come standard with Kuper feed disk system with tolerance compensation. Because the face can be pressed with the glue thread down, removing the glue thread with a sander is not necessary.

Kuper EVB Series Veneer Trimmer

This is a double-sided, centerline fed machine for the reinforcement and end grain binding of already joined veneer faces. Both ends of the machine adjust for varying lengths of veneer. Standard Kuper 1220 glue thread is used. The thread has a non-expanding core and is applied to the face using a standard heating tube, and chrome plated pressure roll. This is the same reliable process that has been used on thousands of Kuper veneer splicers.|After the binding operation, integral cutting discs trim the ends of the face absolutely parallel. The trimming operation leaves approximately 5 mm (¼”) of veneer outside the thread.
