The underlayment pad application systems apply sound-deadening material to floorboards. The material can be processed from the roll or fed as cut strips of the unit. Hot glue is applied to the undersides of the floorboards before the material is laid accurately. A new process, which is particularly suitable for designer floors, further minimizes tolerances.
